Historica Canadiana was created as a resource for all people that are interested in Canadian history. Our goal is to produce articles regarding historical topics that are related (either directly or indirectly) to Canada. For example the “Battle of Britain” could conceivably be a topic that we would include, whereas “The Battle of Midway” probably isn’t.
It is also our goal to write about topics that are not widely written about on the other history sites that can be found on the Internet.
As the site evolves, we will also be constructing a series of “How To” articles that will be valuable to you if you are interested in researching your own topics. These may include technical topics such as “document imaging and storage”, “using electronic document management software”, And finally hands on tutorials such as “archival research for beginners”.
We will be adding our well-researched, professionally written articles on a weekly basis. So please come back frequently. If you would like to be notified of new articles as they are added, please sign up to receive our newsletter by using the form that appears directly to the right
